  • Artwork should be to size. (go to: www.budgetcard.com to download product templates).
  • Colors must be defined as either Pantone or CMYK colors. RGB images must be converted to CMYK.
Images must be 300 dpi (dots/pixels per inch) and at least 600 dpi for images with rasterized text and/or finely detailed logos & line art.
  • All copy and images should be positioned 1⁄8" in from finish size of item, and 1⁄8" clearance from holes,
    slots & die cuts.
  • Imprints with color backgrounds, borders or image backgrounds that print to the edges, must bleed 1⁄8" beyond the finish size (edges of product).
  • Ruler scales must bleed 1⁄8", and the shortest increments on scales must be at least 1⁄8".
  • Text must be at least 6 point type. Small bold and/or condensed text should be kerned out to avoid spaces filling in when printed.
  • Reverse Printing: We do not recommend printing logos with fine lines in reverse, as fine lines will fill in when printed. Text printed in reverse must be bold and at least 6 point type.
